Staying Focused using Stay Focused

I used StayFocused on my Netflix and Hulu websites. I thought the extension is very well made, because you had lots of control of what you want to block and how long you give each website. StayFocused works great for chrome browsers, but that is the downside of StayFocused. It is a chrome extension making it very limited to block only websites. I was easily able to open Safari, Steam, and Skype apps. Which proves to be the more distracting applications. So while StayFocused is very useful if you only use chrome. I found that it is not very effective because I don’t use chrome in distracting ways. In addition StayFocused uses a fair amount of planning and time management to set up. Which users who would benefit most from it usually don’t have very good time management skills. So it could be very hard to use. In conclusion I will use StayFocused to eliminate some distractions, but I don’t think it will be the only strategy I will use.
