Me and Grammar

In my 7th grade english class, grammar was a large focus in the class. Because of this, we had lots of grammar tests and quizzes. Grammar is probably the most challenging part of english for me. So at the start of 7th grade, I started with a shining F.

From then on I worked specifically on english a little more than all of my classes. I even met with my teacher when ever I didn’t understand what are conjunctions or how to use commas. So the next time I took the grammar test I got C. Which I agree isn’t great by poly standards, but was a huge improvement from an F. From then on grammar got tougher; adding more and more rules and principles.

Every test I improved. I went to B- twice on the tests. I continued to meet with my teacher and study english elevating my tests to a B+. Then on my two final tests I earned A-. Through my extended work on english and the practice, I did to improve. I got a B+ for the class grade, but the percentage grade was 89.9%.

I had shown my growth for that seventh grade year and was very happy and proud of what I earned. This was a setting and situations where I had failed but bounced back and grew.
